Day 3

In the early hours of the third day we will leave quickly towards a meeting as expected as incredible: Salar de Uyuni.

The Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt desert in the world. It has an extension that exceeds 10,000 square kilometers (greater than countries like Lebanon). It is a completely white surface, formed by a deposit of ten billion tons of that mineral in overlapping layers that reach a thickness of ten meters.

We will arrive very early to see in the Incahuasi Island one of the most romantic and spectacular sunrises you will ever witness. The Incahuasi Island (in Quechua, "The House of the Inca") is located at 3,822 meters in height is a steep relief, full of millenary caths that can reach 10 meters in height, is one of the main tourist places in Bolivia, thanks to the attraction that represents the salar of Uyuni, also known in the region as salar of Tunupa.

On the island operates a reception center for tourists belonging to the commonwealth of municipalities of Llica and Tahua, on whose territory the island is located. Here we will wait for the dawn, sacred and ceremonial moment for the Incas who inhabited this region for centuries. Take advantage of making a wish and taking unrepeatable photographs. Then we will go down to the salar to have breakfast in the middle of the salar in a properly enabled place.

We will move west with our driver to take the classic photographs in perspective: dinosaurs, backpacks, bottles, jumps and a reel in 360°, let your imagination flow to have unique and original photographs that will be a gift that will offer you this experience. After the photos, we will go to the salt hotel to then go to look for the flag of your country to the Plaza de las Banderas. We will go to the eyes of the salt to watch the volcanic boils that stand out in bubbles of intense colors, full of minerals, that will catch your eye and will be the delight of your senses.

We will leave for the town of Colchani next where you can get all the souvenirs that support your luggage as a practical souvenir of your visit to this salty and white corner of the world. We will then go to the cemetery of Trenes de Uyuni, witness to the rise of salt and that today serves as a photographic scenario of the glory of Bolivia. We will have lunch in a restaurant typical dishes of the region and then we will set off towards our own agency of White and Green in the heart of the city of Uyuni.

Once in the agency, we will advance customs procedures for your return to Chile and we will start fast on our way to Quetena Chico, to spend the night in the hostel for the first night
